- ஒருவன் நெருப்பின் நடுவே இருந்தாலும் எப்படியோ தூங்கிவிட முடியும்; ஆனால் வறுமையின் நடுவே இருக்கும்போது எந்த வகையிலும் கண்மூடித் தூங்க முடியாது. ‘கண்பாடு’ என்பது தூக்கம். நெருப்பைவிட வறுமை தரும் கவலை கொடியது என்பது கருத்து.
