- என் காதலர் என் கண்களுக்குள்ளேயே வாழ்கிறார். கண்ணுக்கு மை தீட்டினால் அவர் மறைந்துவிடுவார் என்று அஞ்சி, நான் மை கூடத் தீட்டுவதில்லை என்கிறாள் காதலி. அழகுபடுத்திக்கொள்வதைவிட அன்புக்குரியவரைத் தன்னுள் காப்பதையே அவள் பெரிதாக எண்ணுகிறாள் என்பதை இது அழகாகக் காட்டுகிறது.
