- தம்மவர் என்று சொல்லிக்கொள்ள யாரும் இல்லாத ஊரில் வாழ்வது துன்பமானது; அதைவிடவும் பெரிய துன்பம், தம் அன்புக்குரியவரைப் பிரிந்து இருப்பது. 'இனன்' என்பது உறவினர், நெருங்கியவர். புதிய ஊரில் தனிமை வருத்தும் என்பது உண்மைதான்; ஆனால் நெஞ்சுக்கு நெருக்கமானவர் அருகில் இல்லாத தனிமை அதைவிடக் கொடியது.
