- காதல் இனிதாக நிறைவேறும்போது அதன் இன்பம் கடல் போலப் பெரியது. ஆனால் அதே காதல் பிரிவால் வாட்டும்போது தரும் துன்பம் அந்தக் கடலைவிடவும் பெரியது என்று தலைவி கூறுகிறாள். 'அடுதல்' என்றால் வருத்துதல். பெரிதாக மகிழ்வித்த ஒன்றே இல்லாமல் போகும்போது இன்னும் பெரிதாக வருத்தும் என்பதை இது காட்டுகிறது.
