- 'விழைந்து இழைந்து' என்பது விரும்பி, உள்ளம் நெகிழ்ந்து என்பதைக் குறிக்கிறது. அன்று ஆசையோடு உருகி, விரும்பி விரும்பிக் காதலரைப் பார்த்த கண்கள், இன்று வருந்தி வருந்தி உள்ளே இருக்கும் கண்ணீர் முழுதும் வற்றிப் போகட்டும் என்று தலைவி சினத்துடன் சொல்கிறாள். ஆசையால் தூண்டப்பட்ட செயலே பின்னர் பெரும் துன்பமாகத் திரும்பக்கூடும் என்பதை இது உணர்த்துகிறது.
