- 'பெட்டார்' என்பது விரும்பியவர்; 'அமைவில' என்பது அமைதி கொள்ளாதவை. உள்ளத்தால் என்னைப் பேணாமல், சொல்லளவில் மட்டும் விரும்பியவர் ஒருவர் இருக்கிறார்; ஆனாலும் அவரைக் காணாமல் என் கண்கள் அமைதி அடைவதில்லை என்கிறாள் தலைவி. அன்பு குறைந்தவரையும் கண்கள் தேடுவதை நிறுத்தாது என்பது காதலின் இயல்பைக் காட்டுகிறது.
