- தம் நெஞ்சத்துக்குள் நான் நுழையாதபடி காவல் வைத்துத் தடுத்துவிட்டார் அவர். அப்படிப்பட்டவர் என் நெஞ்சத்துக்குள் மட்டும் ஓயாமல் வந்து போவதற்கு நாணமாட்டாரோ என்று தலைவி செல்லமாகக் குறைகூறுகிறாள். 'கடிகொள்ளுதல்' என்றால் காவல் வைத்துத் தடுத்தல். தான் அவரை மறக்க முடியாமல் தவிப்பதையே இப்படி அவர்மேல் பழியாகச் சொல்கிறாள்.
