- தான் மேற்கொண்ட வாழ்க்கை நெறியிலிருந்து சிறிதும் விலகாமல் அடங்கி வாழ்பவனின் தோற்றம், அதாவது அவனுடைய உயர்வு, மலையைவிடவும் மிகப் பெரியதாக விளங்கும். 'மாண' என்பது 'மிகவும்' என்ற பொருள் தரும். ஆரவாரம் இல்லாமல் தம் கடமையில் உறுதியாக நிற்பவர்களே சமுதாயத்தில் உயர்ந்தவர்களாக மதிக்கப்படுகின்றனர்.
