- ‘நெஞ்சே, இங்கேயே இருந்துகொண்டு அவரை நினைத்து நினைத்து ஏன் துன்பப்படுகிறாய்? நமக்கு இந்த வாட்டும் பிரிவு நோயைத் தந்தவரிடம் நம்மீது இரக்கம் கொண்டு நினைக்கும் எண்ணமே இல்லையே!’ என்று தலைவி வருந்துகிறாள். ‘பைதல் நோய்’ என்பது உடலையும் மனத்தையும் மெலியச் செய்யும் துயர நோய். நம்மை நினைக்காதவரை நாம் மட்டும் நினைத்து வாடுவது வீண் என்பது கருத்து.
