- When love fills the heart as large as a palmyra tree, one should not sulk even as little as a millet grain. Great love leaves no room for even the smallest quarrel.

- தினை மிகச் சிறிய தானியம்; பனை மிக உயர்ந்த மரம். பனை அளவு பெருகிய காதல் உள்ளத்தில் நிறைந்திருக்கும்போது, தினை அளவுகூட ஊடல் கொள்ளக்கூடாது என்கிறாள் தலைவி. ஊடல் என்பது காதலர்க்குள் தோன்றும் செல்லக் கோபம். பெரிய அன்பு இருக்கும் இடத்தில் சிறு பிணக்குகளுக்கு இடம் தரலாகாது.
