- ஒருவனின் நிழல் அவனை விட்டு நீங்காமல் எப்போதும் அவன் காலடியிலேயே தங்கியிருக்கும். அதுபோலத் தீய செயல்களைச் செய்தவர்களை அழிவும் விடாமல் தொடர்ந்து வரும். 'வீயாது' என்பது நீங்காமல்; 'அடியுறைதல்' என்பது காலடியில் தங்குதல். எங்கே ஓடினாலும் நிழலிலிருந்து தப்ப முடியாதது போல, தீவினையின் விளைவிலிருந்தும் தப்ப முடியாது.
