Thirukkural 21: ஒழுக்கத்து நீத்தார் பெருமை விழுப்பத்து – Meaning in English (The Greatness of Ascetics)

Kural 21

Ozhukkaththu Neeththaar Perumai Vizhuppaththu
Ventum Panuval Thunivu

Meaning
The firm conclusion of the great books is that the greatness of those who hold to right conduct and give up worldly desire stands above every other kind of excellence.
