- ஊருக்கும் உலகுக்கும் பொருந்தும்படி பிறருக்கு உதவி செய்யும் பண்பை 'ஒப்புரவு' என்கிறார் வள்ளுவர். இந்த உலகிலும் சரி, வானுலகிலும் சரி, இதைவிடச் சிறந்த வேறொரு நன்மையைப் பெறுவது அரிது. 'புத்தேள் உலகம்' என்பது வானுலகைக் குறிக்கிறது. எங்கு தேடினாலும், பிறருக்கு உதவுவதைவிட மேலான நற்செயல் கிடைக்காது என்பதே இதன் கருத்து.
