- அருள் நிறைந்த நெஞ்சம் உடையவர்கள், இருள் சூழ்ந்த துன்பம் மிகுந்த உலகத்திற்குச் செல்ல வேண்டிய நிலை இல்லை. 'இருள் சேர்ந்த இன்னா உலகம்' என்பது தீயவர்கள் சென்று துன்புறுவதாகக் கருதப்படும் இருண்ட உலகத்தைக் குறிக்கிறது. பிற உயிர்களிடம் இரக்கம் கொண்டவர்கள் அத்தகைய துன்பத்திலிருந்து விடுபட்டவர்கள் என்று இக்குறள் கூறுகிறது.
