வஞ்ச மனத்தான் படிற்றொழுக்கம் பூதங்கள்

- When a deceitful person lives a falsely pious life, the five elements that make up his own body see through it and laugh at him from within; he cannot hide his deceit from himself.

- நிலம், நீர், தீ, காற்று, வானம் என்னும் ஐந்து பொருள்களால் ஆனது மனிதனின் உடல். வஞ்சக மனம் கொண்டவன் வெளியே நல்லவன்போல் நடித்து மறைவாகத் தீமை செய்தால், அவனுக்குள்ளேயே இருக்கும் இந்த ஐந்தும் அவன் பொய்யைக் கண்டு உள்ளுக்குள் சிரிக்கும். பிறரிடம் மறைத்தாலும் தன்னிடமிருந்து எதையும் மறைக்க முடியாது என்பதே கருத்து.
