- பிறருடைய பொருளை வஞ்சகமாகக் கவர்ந்துகொள்வோம் என்று மனத்திற்குள் நினைப்பதே தீமையாகும். செயலில் இறங்காவிட்டாலும், அத்தகைய எண்ணம் தோன்றுவதே குற்றம் என்பது கருத்து. தீய செயல்கள் எல்லாம் எண்ணத்திலிருந்தே தொடங்குவதால், முதலில் மனத்தைத் தூய்மையாக வைத்திருக்க வேண்டும்.
