- சிறப்பு ஈனும் செல்வம் என்பது புகழையும் உயர்வையும் பெற்றுத் தரும் பெருஞ்செல்வம். பிறருக்குத் துன்பம் செய்தால் அத்தகைய செல்வம் கிடைக்கும் என்றாலும், அவ்வாறு செய்யாமல் இருப்பதே மனத்தில் குற்றமில்லாத தூயவர்களின் உறுதியான கொள்கை. 'கோள்' என்றால் கொள்கை. பெரும் பயன் கிடைக்கும் என்று தோன்றினாலும், அதற்காக ஒருவரையும் புண்படுத்தாமல் இருப்பதே நல்ல மனத்தின் அடையாளம்.
