- 'புக்கில்' என்றால் என்றும் தங்கும் சொந்த வீடு; 'துச்சில்' என்றால் சிறிது காலம் ஒதுங்கித் தங்கும் இடம். உடலுக்குள் இரவல் இடத்தில் ஒதுங்கியிருப்பது போல வாழும் உயிருக்கு, இன்னும் நிலையான சொந்த வீடு அமையவில்லையோ என்று வள்ளுவர் வியப்புடன் கேட்கிறார். உடல் உயிரின் நிலையான இருப்பிடம் அல்ல என்பதே இதன் கருத்து.
