- பற்றுகளை முழுமையாகத் துறந்தவர்கள் வாழ்வின் உயர்ந்த இலக்கை அடைந்தவர்கள் ஆவர். அவ்வாறு முழுமையாகத் துறக்காத மற்றவர்கள், மயக்கத்தில் சிக்கி, மீண்டும் மீண்டும் பிறக்கும் பிறவி என்னும் வலையில் அகப்பட்டுக் கிடக்கின்றனர். அரைகுறைத் துறவு விடுதலை தராது என்பது இதன் கருத்து.
