அறத்தான் வருவதே இன்பம் மற்றெல்லாம்

- அறவழியில் வாழ்வதால் கிடைப்பதே உண்மையான இன்பம். அறத்துக்குப் புறம்பான வழிகளில் பெறும் மற்ற இன்பங்கள் எல்லாம் உண்மையான இன்பம் ஆகாது; அவற்றால் புகழும் கிடைக்காது. தவறான வழியில் பெறும் மகிழ்ச்சி சிறிது காலம் இனிப்பது போலத் தோன்றினாலும், அது மதிப்பைத் தருவதில்லை; நேர்மையான வாழ்வில் கிடைக்கும் மகிழ்ச்சியே நிலைத்து நிற்கும்.
