- உலகில் உள்ள சிறந்தவர்களை நண்பர்களாக்கிக் கொள்வது அறிவின் திறமை; 'ஒட்பம்' என்றால் அறிவுத்திறன். அந்த நட்பில் தொடக்கத்தில் மலர்போல விரிந்து மகிழ்வதும், பின்னர் சுருங்கி விலகுவதும் இல்லாமல், எப்போதும் ஒரே நிலையில் நிலைத்திருப்பதும் அறிவே. உறவுகளில் ஏற்றத் தாழ்வின்றி ஒரே அளவில் அன்பு காட்டுவது நல்ல நட்பை நீண்ட காலம் காக்கும்.
