- ஒரு செயலைத் தொடங்கும் முன், அதனால் எவ்வளவு பொருள் செலவாகும், எவ்வளவு திரும்பக் கிடைக்கும், இறுதியில் மிஞ்சும் பயன் என்ன என்ற மூன்றையும் ஆராய்ந்து பார்த்த பிறகே செய்ய வேண்டும். "அழிவது" என்பது போகும் பொருள், "ஆவது" என்பது வரும் பொருள், "வழிபயக்கும் ஊதியம்" என்பது பின்னாளில் கிடைக்கும் நன்மை. தொழில் தொடங்குவதோ வீடு கட்டுவதோ, கணக்குப் போட்டுப் பார்த்துவிட்டு இறங்குவதே அறிவுடைமை.
