- அறியாமை என்னும் இருளிலிருந்து பிறப்பவை நல்வினை, தீவினை என்னும் இரண்டு வகைச் செயல்கள். அவற்றின் பயன்கள் மனிதனைத் தொடர்ந்து பிணைக்கின்றன. இறைவனின் உண்மையான புகழை விரும்பிப் போற்றுபவர்களை இந்த இரண்டு வினைகளும் சென்று சேர்வதில்லை. 'பொருள்சேர் புகழ்' என்பது பொய்யில்லாத, உண்மையான புகழைக் குறிக்கிறது.
