- இங்கே "பற்று" என்பது ஒருவரிடம் உள்ள செல்வத்தையும் நிலையையும் குறிக்கிறது. ஒருவர் தம் செல்வம் எல்லாவற்றையும் இழந்து ஒன்றுமில்லாதவராக நின்றாலும், பழைய உறவை மறக்காமல் முன்பு போலவே அன்போடு பழகும் பண்பு உறவினர்களிடம் மட்டுமே காணப்படும். மற்றவர்கள் நிலை தாழ்ந்ததும் விலகிவிடலாம்; உண்மையான சுற்றம் அப்படி விலகுவதில்லை. அதனால்தான் உறவைப் பேணுவது துன்ப காலத்தில் பெரும் துணையாகிறது.
