- அரசனுக்கு வெற்றியைத் தருவது அவன் கையில் உள்ள வேல் அன்று; அவனுடைய செங்கோல்தான், அதுவும் அது வளையாமல் நேராக இருந்தால் மட்டுமே. படைவலிமையை விட நேர்மையான ஆட்சியே நிலையான வெற்றியைத் தரும். மக்களின் நம்பிக்கையைப் பெற்ற தலைவரே உண்மையில் வெல்கிறார்.
