Thirukkural 551: கொலைமேற்கொண் டாரிற் கொடிதே அலைமேற்கொண்டு – Meaning in English (The Cruel Sceptre)

Kural 551

Kolaimerkon Taarir Kotidhe Alaimerkontu
Allavai Seydhozhukum Vendhu

Meaning
A king who makes a habit of harassing his people and doing wrong is crueller than a man whose trade is murder.
