- அரசனின் கொடுமையால் துன்பப்பட்டு, அதைத் தாங்க முடியாமல் மக்கள் அழுது சிந்தும் கண்ணீரே அவனுடைய செல்வத்தை அரித்து அழிக்கும் படைக்கருவி அல்லவா? 'படை' என்பது இங்கே ஆயுதம். வெளிப்படையாக எவரும் போர் தொடுக்காவிட்டாலும், மக்களின் மனத்துயரம் ஆட்சியின் வளத்தை மெல்லத் தேய்த்துவிடும். பிறரை அழவைத்துச் சேர்த்த செல்வம் நிலைக்காது என்பதை அன்றாட வாழ்விலும் நினைவில் கொள்ளலாம்.
