- ஒற்றனின் பணியைப் பாராட்டி அவனுக்குச் செய்யும் சிறப்பைப் பிறர் அறியும்படி வெளிப்படையாகச் செய்யக் கூடாது. அப்படிச் செய்தால் அவன் ஒற்றன் என்பது வெளிப்பட்டு, அரசன் தன் மறைபொருளைத் தானே வெளியிட்டவன் ஆவான். ஒற்றனுக்குத் தரும் பரிசும் மறைவாகவே இருக்க வேண்டும். ரகசியப் பணியில் இருப்பவரைப் பொது இடத்தில் பாராட்டுவது அவரது பணியையே கெடுக்கும்.
