- இன்பத்தையே தேடி அலையாமல், துன்பம் வாழ்க்கையின் இயல்பான ஒரு பகுதி என்று உணர்ந்தவன் துன்பத்தால் வருந்துவது இல்லை. எதிர்பார்ப்பு குறைவாக இருக்கும்போது ஏமாற்றமும் குறைவு. எல்லா நாளும் இனிமையாக இருக்க வேண்டும் என்று எண்ணாமல், கடினமான நாட்களையும் வாழ்வின் ஒரு பகுதியாக ஏற்றுக்கொள்பவர் மன அமைதியுடன் வாழ்வார்.
