- இன்பமான காலத்தில் அந்த இன்பத்தில் மூழ்கி அதையே விரும்பித் திளைக்காதவன், துன்பமான காலம் வரும்போது அதனால் பெரிதும் வருந்துவது இல்லை. நல்ல நாளில் அளவோடு மகிழ்பவர் கெட்ட நாளிலும் சமநிலை இழக்காமல் இருப்பார். வெற்றியில் தலைக்கனம் கொள்ளாதவர் தோல்வியிலும் துவண்டு விழ மாட்டார்.
