- புகழையும் நன்மையையும் தராத செயல்களை எப்போதும் விட்டு விலக வேண்டும். "ஒருவுதல்" என்றால் நீங்குதல் என்று பொருள். ஒரு செயலைத் தொடங்கும் முன், அது நல்ல பெயரையும் உண்மையான பயனையும் தருமா என்று எண்ணிப் பார்க்க வேண்டும். பயனும் பெருமையும் இல்லாத வேலைகளில் நேரத்தையும் உழைப்பையும் வீணாக்காமல் இருப்பதே அறிவுடைமை.
