- தெளிவான, அசையாத அறிவு உடையவர்கள், துன்பம் வந்து நெருக்கினாலும் இழிவான செயல்களைச் செய்ய மாட்டார்கள். "நடுக்கற்ற காட்சி" என்பது குழப்பமோ தடுமாற்றமோ இல்லாத உறுதியான அறிவு; "இளிவந்த" என்பது இழிவைத் தருவன. சிக்கலிலிருந்து தப்புவதற்காகக் குறுக்கு வழியில் செல்லாமல் இருப்பதே உண்மையான மன உறுதி.
