- தன் அருகில் வைக்கப்பட்ட பொருளின் நிறத்தைப் பளிங்குக்கல் தன்னுள் காட்டுவது போல, மனத்தில் மிகுந்து எழுந்த உணர்ச்சியை முகம் வெளிப்படுத்திவிடும். இங்கு 'கடுத்தது' என்பது உள்ளத்தில் வலுவாக எழுந்த உணர்வைக் குறிக்கிறது. அதனால் முகத்தைக் கவனித்தாலே ஒருவர் மனநிலையை அறிந்துகொள்ள முடியும். கோபமோ கவலையோ எவ்வளவு மறைத்தாலும் முகத்தில் தெரிந்துவிடுவதை நாம் அன்றாடம் காண்கிறோம்.
