Thirukkural 713: அவையறியார் சொல்லல்மேற் கொள்பவர் சொல்லின் – Meaning in English (The Knowledge of the Council Chamber)

Kural 713

Avaiyariyaar Sollalmer Kolpavar Sollin
Vakaiyariyaar Valladhooum Il

Meaning
Those who set out to speak without understanding their audience do not know how to use words properly, and whatever skill they may have comes to nothing.
