- அன்பு இல்லாதவர்கள் தம்மிடம் உள்ள எல்லாவற்றையும் தமக்கு மட்டுமே உரியவை என்று இறுகப் பற்றிக்கொள்வார்கள். அன்பு உடையவர்களோ தம் உடம்பின் எலும்பையும் பிறருக்கு உரியதாகக் கருதுவார்கள்; தேவைப்பட்டால் தம்மையே கொடுக்கவும் தயங்க மாட்டார்கள். 'என்பு' என்றால் எலும்பு. தம் உழைப்பையும் உடைமையையும் பிறர் நலனுக்காகப் பகிர்ந்து கொள்வதே அன்பின் அடையாளம்.
