- 'அறவாழி' என்பது அறத்தின் கடல்; 'அந்தணன்' என்பது எல்லா உயிர்களிடமும் அருள் உடையவன். அறக்கடலாகிய அந்த அருளாளனின் திருவடிகளைச் சேர்ந்தவர்கள் மட்டுமே பிற கடல்களை நீந்திக் கடக்க முடியும். அறம் அல்லாத பொருளாசை, இன்பஆசை போன்ற கடல்களைக் கடப்பது மற்றவர்களுக்குக் கடினம். அறவழியைப் பற்றிக்கொண்டால் வாழ்வின் சிக்கல்களைக் கடந்துவிடலாம் என்பது இதன் கருத்து.
