விருந்து புறத்ததாத் தானுண்டல் சாவா

- விருந்தினர் வீட்டுக்கு வெளியே காத்திருக்க, தான் மட்டும் உள்ளே உண்பது தகாது. அப்படி உண்ணும் உணவு சாவைத் தடுக்கும் அமிழ்தமாகவே இருந்தாலும், அதை விரும்புவது முறையன்று. 'சாவா மருந்து' என்பது இறவாமையைத் தரும் அமிழ்தத்தைக் குறிக்கிறது. எவ்வளவு அருமையான உணவாயினும், வந்தவரோடு பகிர்ந்து உண்பதே சிறந்தது.
