- தவறு செய்யும்போது வெட்கப்படாமை, தெரிந்துகொள்ள வேண்டியதை ஆராய்ந்து தேடாமை, பிறரிடம் அன்பும் இரக்கமும் இல்லாமை, காக்க வேண்டிய எதையும் பொருட்படுத்திப் போற்றாமை ஆகிய நான்கும் பேதையின் இயல்புகள் என்கிறார் வள்ளுவர்.
