- நூல்களைக் கற்று, அவற்றின் பொருளை நன்கு உணர்ந்து, பிறருக்கும் எடுத்துச் சொல்லிவிட்டு, தான் மட்டும் அதன்படி அடங்கி நடக்காதவனைவிடப் பெரிய பேதை எவரும் இல்லை. அறியாதவன் தவறு செய்வதைவிட, அறிந்தவன் தவறு செய்வது மிகப் பெரிய குற்றம். பிறருக்கு அறிவுரை சொல்லும் முன், அதைத் தானே பின்பற்றுவதே உண்மையான கல்வியின் பயன்.
