- ஏமுற்றவர் என்பது மனம் கலங்கிய பித்தரைக் குறிக்கும்; ஏழை என்பது அறிவற்றவன் என்று பொருள்படும். தனக்குத் துணை யாரும் இல்லாமல் தனியனாக நின்று பலரோடு பகை கொள்பவன், அத்தகைய பித்தரைவிடவும் அறிவற்றவன். தன் வலிமையை அளந்து பார்க்காமல் எல்லாரையும் எதிர்ப்பது தனக்குத் தானே அழிவைத் தேடுவதாகும்.
