- முகத்தில் மகிழ்ச்சி தோன்ற, கண்களால் அன்புடன் நோக்கி, மனத்தின் ஆழத்திலிருந்து எழும் இனிய சொற்களைப் பேசுவதில்தான் அறம் அடங்கியுள்ளது. முகம், பார்வை, உள்ளம் ஆகிய மூன்றும் ஒன்றுசேர வேண்டும் என்பதே கருத்து. உதட்டளவில் மட்டும் இனிமை காட்டுவது அறம் ஆகாது; உள்ளத்தில் உள்ள அன்பே சொல்லில் வெளிப்பட வேண்டும்.
