- இழிவு வந்தபோது அதைத் தாங்கிக்கொண்டு வாழாமல் உயிர் துறக்கும் மானமுடையவர்களின் புகழை உலகம் என்றும் வணங்கிப் போற்றும். "இளிவரின்" என்றால் இழிவு வந்தால்; "ஒளி" என்பது புகழைக் குறிக்கிறது. தன்மதிப்பை உயிரைவிட மேலாகக் கொண்டவர்களை மக்கள் நெடுங்காலம் நினைவில் வைத்துப் போற்றுவார்கள்.
