Count from the bride's star to the groom's: it agrees when the count leaves 2, 4, 6, 8 or 0 after dividing by 9.

The same gana agrees. A Deva bride with a Manushya groom agrees; the other way round is partial. A Rakshasa with any other gana does not agree.

Agrees when the groom's star is the 4th, 7th, 10th, 13th, 16th, 19th, 22nd or 25th from the bride's.

Agrees when the groom's star is more than 13 from the bride's; 10 to 13 is partial.
