How to find the next number
Write down the gap between each pair of numbers. If the gaps are the same, keep adding. If they grow by the same amount, the next gap grows too. If the numbers double or triple, look at ratios instead. Squares, cubes and the Fibonacci rule (add the two before) come up often in the harder puzzles.
