Aishwarya Rai Bachchan, born on November 1, 1973, in Mangalore, Karnataka, is a globally recognised Indian actress, model, and the winner of the Miss World 1994 pageant. She is widely regarded as one of the most beautiful women in the world and has had a remarkable career spanning Indian and international cinema.

In Tamil cinema, Aishwarya Rai delivered memorable performances in “Iruvar” (1997) directed by Mani Ratnam, where she played dual roles inspired by real-life personalities, showcasing her dramatic range. Her other notable Tamil film is “Jeans” (1998) alongside Prashanth, directed by S. Shankar, which was one of the most expensive Indian films at the time and featured stunning visual effects.
