Anikha Surendran

Anikha Surendran, born on November 27, 2004, in Manjeri, Malappuram, Kerala, is a young Indian actress who has made a remarkable transition from a celebrated child artist to a promising leading actress in Tamil and Malayalam cinema.

Anikha began her acting career as a child artist, making her debut in the Malayalam film “Kadha Thudarunnu” (2010). She gained widespread recognition for her role as Ajith’s daughter in the Tamil blockbuster “Yennai Arindhaal” (2015) directed by Gautham Menon, which earned her the Kerala State Film Award for Best Child Artist. She also appeared as a child artist in “Viswasam” (2019) with Ajith.

As she transitioned to teenage and young adult roles, Anikha has appeared in films like “Maalik” (2022) in Malayalam and has been cast in several upcoming Tamil projects. She is a trained classical dancer who has performed at various cultural events.
