Bobby Simha, born on November 6, 1983, in Kodaikanal, Tamil Nadu, is a National Award-winning Tamil actor known for his intense and versatile performances. He began his career with short films before making his feature film debut, gradually building a reputation as one of Tamil cinema’s most talented character actors.

Bobby Simha’s career-defining moment came with Karthik Subbaraj’s “Jigarthanda” (2014), where his portrayal of the menacing gangster Assault Sethu earned him the National Film Award for Best Supporting Actor. His transformation into the terrifying yet nuanced villain was praised as one of the finest performances in Tamil cinema that year.
