JCT Prabhakar

John Christian Devavaram Prabhakar, popularly referred to in Tamil media as JCD or “JCT” Prabhakar (ஜேசிடி பிரபாகர்), is a senior Tamil Nadu politician known for his long public life across party roles and legislative responsibilities. Born on 13 October 1952 in Dindigul, Tamil Nadu, he built his public profile primarily through politics and administration rather than the Tamil film industry. Prabhakar was historically associated with the AIADMK and is frequently described in news reports as a veteran leader whose political roots trace back to the MGR era.
