Kajal Agarwal

Kajal Aggarwal, born on June 19, 1985, in Mumbai, Maharashtra, is a popular Indian actress and model who has built a successful career across Tamil, Telugu, and Hindi cinema. She holds a degree in Mass Media from K.C. College, Mumbai, and is one of the most recognizable faces in South Indian cinema.

Kajal made her acting debut with the Hindi film “Kyun! Ho Gaya Na…” (2004) before gaining recognition in Telugu cinema with “Chandamama” (2007). Her breakthrough came with the Telugu blockbuster “Magadheera” (2009) opposite Ram Charan, directed by S.S. Rajamouli. In Tamil cinema, she delivered major hits including “Naan Mahaan Alla” (2010), “Thuppakki” (2012) opposite Vijay, “Jilla” (2014) with Vijay and Mohanlal, and “Mersal” (2017) with Vijay.

Kajal has also appeared in several Hindi films including “Singham” (2011) and “Special 26” (2013). In Telugu, she continued her success with “Temper” (2015) and “Khaidi No. 150” (2017). She has won the SIIMA Award for Best Actress and multiple Filmfare nominations. Kajal married businessman Gautam Kitchlu in 2020 and has a son. She remains active in the industry and is considered one of the most successful crossover actresses in Indian cinema.
