Biography

Kalaiyarasan Harikrishnan, born on February 20, 1986, is a Tamil actor who has carved a niche for himself with his intense performances in critically acclaimed Tamil films. He graduated from the Balu Mahendra Institute of Film Technology, which laid a strong foundation for his acting career.

Kalaiyarasan made his debut with Pa. Ranjith’s “Madras” (2014), where his performance as a North Chennai youth caught in political violence was widely praised. He continued his collaboration with Ranjith in the Rajinikanth-starrer “Kabali” (2016), further establishing his reputation as a talented actor.

His filmography includes notable performances in “Meyaadha Maan” (2017) as the male lead, “Odu Raja Odu” (2018), and “Natpuna Ennanu Theriyuma” (2019). He gained significant recognition for his role in the anthology film “Paava Kadhaigal” (2020) on Netflix and delivered a powerful performance in “Sarpatta Parambarai” (2021) as a boxer in the Pa. Ranjith-directed sports drama set in North Chennai.
